Cheltenham statue

 

This was a photo I documented on my walk through Cheltenham on the homework brief. This monument stood tall as it was placed centre of a circular flower boarded section with seating that framed the edges. As walking around this part the bright flowers stood out as well as the ornamental grass that stood tall behind it. I loved the texture of these grasses as it was different to the flowers. It was peaceful here as it was a place you could stop and be conscious of your surroundings. The gravel under foot crunched with each step making a satisfying sound, the breeze that nipped through the trees made a background hum that made it tranquil. The structure stood grand in the centre with all the attention focused on the pillar which stood in the centre.
