Magnolia

 

Magnolia leaf and branch with blossoms. These were sketch's that I drew for one of my first projects - Magnolia Court. I found inspiration in this tree the way that the branches grow, creating routes, tangling themselves but always growing in the direction of light. This transferred to my design as needing a direct route through the court but still creating that 'journey' of entanglement.
