Day n night

This is the day and night effects of a type of resin bound path called Star Path. It a technology using photoluminescent, which reflects light for up to 10 hours at night. 

I think that this is such an innovation to lighting. I can imagine a site with this paving, filled with trees and vegetation, also with subtle lighting like fairy lights. I think it would look so surreal and magical, especially when paired with water features. 

However for this paving to get maximum performance, the night must not have much light, so heavily light polluted areas would not work with this paving. 

Rural areas would fit this better, however the path needs to be able to absorb as much light as possible to work at night, so a thick canopy would not work here either. 

Another thing that I liked is the complete change in feeling compared to day and night. It looks like two different sites here, and the pattern in the daylight is just as interesting with subtle paving patterns through out.
