Vander Park Residential Landscaping

This is my choice of Geuze’s work, I think its fantastic. The shapes angels that he's achieved creates an exciting landscape that is full of energy. The natural tones and materiality combine with the geometric modernist pattern, making a well balanced design. I love the wood sculptures and wooden pavilion that he's designed creating a subtle central space for people to enjoy. 

I think that he has also done well in reflecting the sharp architecture back into the landscape working with it rather than against. 

The planting strip pattern gives direction and movement in the site, which is complimented by the layers of bushes that stick out as dark green. 

The landscape is pretty flat, so by adding the trees, vegetation, wooden play area and pavilions, he has made it feel more enclosed and together.
