"A river of bright red geraniums in shades of red and pink with mauve African daisies, planted in recycled felt planter bags" Colourstream at Coal Drops Yard - Dan Pearson Studio

This was a temporary design solution, later to be replaces with permeant planters. The vibrant bold colours create a great statement and brightens the neutral street.

Even though this design is temporary it makes such a statement. The colours are warm and fiery, red energises the space creating an intense feeling.

I couldn't talk about Dan without mentioning this project. I am blown away with how gorgeous this planting is, and how well it fits the architecture. The red bricks compliment the blue and purple hues of the plants. I love the gentle pallet with works so well in a place so rich in architecture. I just want to sit here with a book, it has a calming effect, which I've never really felt before with planting scheme. The height of the plants are important along the path too, where its taller than you, you become submerged, making it really have that magical feel.
