Public square in Warsaw, Poland

I really enjoyed finding this public park designed by Wirtz, in Poland. I love their idea of creating an "inviting feeling" and hopes to spark curiosity through the juxtaposition of the buildings and circular park.

The circular importance of the park comes from most of the fixings, the water feature being circle, tree beds and planting which is brought together by the curved paving. This creates a subtle but important movement within the site to bring it all together.

I also love the flexibility of the site, making space for concerts open theatres, etc. It creates a usable space with more meaning and importance within the community. It can completely change the atmosphere depending on time and date, this is important when creating a space with interest all year round.
